Full Form of CSC
CSC stands for Common Service Center, which is introduced by the government as a part of the “good governance” mission. The Common Service Center, otherwise known as the Common Service Scheme, is one such scheme.
Aims of CSC
A Public-Private Partnership format is used for the implementation of the scheme. Goals include:
- Access to cost-effective and quality welfare administrations

Eligibility for Common Service Centre
Following are the eligibility criteria for starting a CSC.
- Applicant must be a local person
- Age of the applicant should be 18 years or above
- 10th standard or any other equivalent qualification is required
- Must have basic English speaking ability
- Must have basic knowledge of computer
- Reading and writing the local language should be proficient
- Have a valid PAN and Virtual ID
